Well I made it. I completed my journey of 780 km and walked an additional 90 km to the Ocean. The journey was amazing and I am very content with my accomplishment. I also lost a few pounds and improved my physical fitness quite a bit.
Here is my attempt at journaling my experiences of walking the Camino de Santiago. I did take some notes while on my journey which I will incorporate throughout but for the most part I am relying on memory and post-trip research.
My intention for this blog is the exploration of thoughts, experiences, observations and feelings as I was walking and the awareness that it brings to me today.
It is the start of a new camino of sorts.

I have been trying out several sites to do this but I think I will continue with this one. There was always something lacking with the on-line journaling or web-sites I tried. While I will be recalling the past I will try to get through the 53 days over the next while. I took over 1800 photos on my 53 day journey in Europe and I will be relying on them and posting some to jog my memory. So many days passed so quicky that it is difficult to remember them individually without the pictures.

I hope to follow the stages chronologically with pictures from each day and supported with facts from various sources.
