Tonight I decided I needed to buy a Eurorail Pass to get myself back to Paris from Santiago de Compostela . I am sure happy at this time that I have done that. All of my research was showing very difficult and expensive ways to get back to Paris especially purchased last minute. I purchased a 4 day in two months pass for $400. Now I have freedom to plan at the end of my walk where I will go for the remaining days on the 4 day pass, ending up in Paris about two days before departure. That way I can explore Paris for a couple days. The pass gives me flexibility to go within France and Spain. You have to purchase these tickets in Canada and thank God they will arrive early next week. Even bus tickets were expensive so $400 CAD is really a steal I think. Oh..and it is first class!
Less than two weeks to go! The gym workouts are going well. I walked 22 km with 15 lb pack on Tuesday. I made it with no problems..tired.... but no problems.
